Report from Brussels: Pending legislative initiatives by the European Commission in the area of financial services in the EU – content and state of play

This report aims at giving an overview on the procedural state of play as well as the content of important pending legislative initiatives by the European Commission in the area of financial services in the EU, in particular in the area of banking and capital market law. The report continues and follows in its approach earlier reports from 2018 (ZBB 2018, 340) and 2019 (ZBB 2019, 272). This report (with a cut-off date on 4 October 2022) is timely since it takes stock of developments at ‘half time’ of the current Commission’s mandate.
